Monday
Departure day! I was very excited not only because I'm going to Spain, but also because I'm going to a family which I have never met. I woke up very early and prepared myself. My dad was going to drop us off at the Airport, and we were quite early at Schiphol. After the security check we went to eat something. After couple of hours we were told to board.
In Spain we had to wait a while for our luggage. And then I met my host family. They were very happy to see me and I really liked that! At home his mom made us a pizza. I was very tired so I went to bed direct.
Tuesday
I woke up early, and had good breakfast. We had to be at school very early. When we arrived at school we were told that we are going to follow a lesson of maths. I really liked it but the problem was that I could not understand them. In the afternoon we had a lesson of Flamenco which is a typical Spanish dance. In the afternoon we went to Mc donalds with a group!
Wednesday
Wednesday, we hired some bikes and went driving through the whole city by bike. First we went to isla de cartuja where they had very old national gardens which where very impressive. Then we went to Triana this was a old neighbourhood with a big indoor market where we bought chili peppers, this was also where i took the picture you can see. After that we went to the city center where we could go shopping. Me and Oscar went to to the McDonalds. That afternoon Oscar and his host came to meet us.
Thursday, we also went to the city center. In the morning we had to do our dance on a big city square. We had a lot of viewers and people that were filming us. After that we went to the Royal Palace and the cathedral which was very big.
Friday, we went to the national park Donana. It was a 2 hour drive and it was near the south coast of spain. We drove through the park with a safari bus. It was very funny and we saw a lot of animals, we even saw a lynx. After that we went to El Rocio, a local town near the park. This really reminded me of a cowboy town, all the roads there were from sand. We walked through the town where we found a local supermarket and we bought some food. We then went back to Sevilla where my hosts took me to a tour through the Real Betis Stadium. That was very impressive and cool because it was a big football club. That night we went to Nervion, a big shopping center in the City.
Saturday
We had to prepare our project and presentate them. After our presentation we had a party with all the host family's and in the afternoon I went to the Sevilla soccer match. Which they lost... in the evening we went toe eat pizza. I had to pack my baggage and have good sleep.
Sunday
Day of leaving and going back to Holland. I really missed my family and also did not want to leave Spain because it was so beautifull.
